AvaCollabra - Operational snowpack modelling
AvaCollabra is a new working group advancing the application of snow cover models for operational avalanche forecasting by fostering collaboration among researchers, software developers, and avalanche forecasters.
The group formed at ISSW 2023 and has since established overall goals, exchanged information, and is currently working on collaborative initiatives.
This workshop aims to facilitate information exchange and explore possibilities for greater international collaboration in the emerging field of snowpack modelling. It is relevant for those already participating in AvaCollabra or researchers and practitioners interested in applying snowpack modelling.
